The FCC has cleared the HTC Census, again. The device is a Windows Mobile smart phone. Only without the phone part. It is a device that supports EV-DO and WiFi. It is not meant to be a consumer device. It is only meant to do one thing, and that is conduct a census.

The device was approved for a second time, as some technical problems held the project back.
The 2010 census was supposed to held using this device. Looks like this bad boy will have to wait until 2020.
